He contacted me immediately and came over and tested the minor maintenance issues. After about 30 minutes he fixed everything on our list to include a clogged dishwasher. Before he left he gave us a lot of helpful information about the house and all the appliances. They are nice and right there for you when you're moving in.
If I needed to rent again AH4R would be the first place I looked. Have had a great experience with all the staff and the rently system is so convenient. Everyone has been very helpful and the selection of houses has been impressive. I would absolutely recommend this company to friends, family and anyone who is looking for a reliable rental company. Never picked up my phone calls the entire year I rented from them.

They were paying $10 -$15 thousands less than what the homes are listed for with tons of upgrades. They are now renting these homes, but what does this do to an area. Usually homeowners have a more vested interest in keeping up the properties.
The greeter who met us when we moved in was friendly and took over an hour to show us around and make us feel welcome in our new home. We have three children and they love their new large bedrooms. Also, working with the staff has been opposite of what I read in recent reviews.

Not only bargain prices but they are getting the best houses in the area leaving the one with no updates. Helped me get into our home in short notice. Everyone was super helpful and courteous. Cory Helman did our walk through with us and was very knowledgeable and informative. So far this has been a wonderful experience.
A wonderful group of people to help my family with our move. Ms. Young was very professional and diligent in assisting me with my rental application. She followed-up and returned all calls very promptly.

I have family member that sold a house to American Homes 4 Rent back in July. American Homes really wanted to close before the end of July, which coincided with their IPO. Darla was a great help with my initial move in inspection. Any issues she immediately alerted the people to get it fixed and all issues were resolved within 24 hours.

They will never return your phone calls when you move out. You will be lucky if you get 5% security deposit back bc they will claim bogus damages. This is a Horrible company and expects to do nothing w the house up keeps. Just to name a few....this company expects the renters to steam clean the carpets by a professional and to power wash the house and sidewalk. And your utilities bills you will see all kinds of service fees. Best advice rent off a local home owners and not from the American home 4 rent.
Had the walk through today with Cory and all was well. He went over all the important paperwork with me and gave me all the contact numbers we will need in case of an issue. He described in detail what each contact handled and how to go over our account online. Cory made sure I had no issues or complaints and explained and answered my questions. Thank you and we are excited to move in next Tuesday the 6th of Feb. thanks again for the information.
But I felt better to do it after moving in , then I was more familiar with the house and had more questions to ask Cory . And he was able to answer all of them . Was worried about my relationship with the office , but Cory put my mind at ease . Arika has been extremely helpful and quick to respond to all communications so far. I'm about to receive the keys to our new property tomorrow and have a walk-through of the property arranged also.
The house we moved into wasn’t in the near shapes . We were worried that we were going to get docked for things that weren’t done by us, but we weren’t, which was very nice. Other rental companies have screwed us over like that before. But AH4R did not and it was much appreciated. The overall experience with AH4R was great.
He came in, gave all the specs and information for the home thoroughly. My family and I look forward to our time here and leasing the home through you all. We had very good experience with American Homes4Rent. All representatives were very courteous and always available to answer my questions. I would definitely rent from them if the occasion was ever there.
